Why am I supposed to care about Trump getting the equivalent of a speeding ticket?

Y’all act like this proves that he’s the chosen one.
It’s a misdemeanor.
Will he spend the night in jail? No.
Will he not be able to run for President? No.
Will he lose significant amounts of assets? No.
Will he lose his base? No.
And they’ve scheduled the arrest and informed him of the day.
This is all an agreed to plan that Trump loves. DA gets him some low iq left voters and trump gets some low iq right voters.

Well it kinda makes us look a little bit bad, when we’re supposed to be known for our system of fair and equal justice under the law, most definitely supposed to be free from undue and unfair influence, particularly unfair and undue political influence. They’re shitting the bed right there before the eyes of the entire world.

1. one looks like income tax evasion. using campaign money for personal use but not reporting the income.
2. whatever misdemeanor is charged includes the potential that the jury chooses to affirm aspects of the case are some reason to up the penalty to felony.

What he should do is find a mannequin and dress it up as Trump, then get a police occifer costume with accessory novelty handcuffs, and finally build a little jail from couch cushions.
Put the bracelets on that rascal Trump and throw him under that darned jail and throw away the key. Do the physical moves. Work it out. Maybe that alternative therapy could rid Celtic of the demons that haunt him.

They are doing this so that they can get a picture of him to use in campaign ads to turn off voters who have no idea about the context. Show him in handcuffs, or in a police car, or in the police station, or a mug shot, or whatever actually happens to use out of context or to just put in the TV screen to paint him as a crook. It’s always about optics.

Well if you appreciate a fair and just criminal justice system, you should care that they are weaponizing it for political gain and to take an opponent off the board. I assume you're not so ignorant that you still fall for the "just this one time" tactic that allows the toxic erosion of our American institutions.
Since it seems like you don't care about any of that, I guess you should care enough to be excited that they are ignoring the rule of law to achieve a goal you share with them. There are plenty like that out there, who seemingly think their shared goal to get that bad orange man is anything more than a coincidence of shared interests and isn't part of the rule book that is being (re)written.
Maybe you're just way too cool to care about any of it. Nobody is forcing you to care about or think anything, yet.
