Jordy was cryptic this morning: Kelly needs to recruit the right type of athlete @ LSU

He kept using the phrase “right type of athlete” without outright stating what that meant.
I only presume that means what many on this board have been preaching when Kelly says “GRADUATE champions.”
Additionally said that if Kelly is going after Notre Dame type recruits that’s not going to work down here.
And also, while the program needed some things corrected that the blueprint for success was proven with NCs under Saban, Miles, and O.
Sounds like what again all is sidewalk experts have thought.
Kelly may not be getting it with regard to who and type of player that wins down here.

CBK has repeatedly asked for 3 years. I'm not going to be critical of him until after his benchmark has passed.

You have to remember Jordy is friends with Denver Harris’ family. He says he was roommates with Tack.
He’s just too close to that situation to see it objectively. Yesterday he was calling for different rules for different players - clearly Denver just can’t get with the program.
I’m sure all of that is currently coloring his outlook and it’s surfacing after a beat down by Bama.

Is Jayden Daniels the right type of athlete? Emery Jones? Will Campbell? Harold Perkins? Kaleb Jackson?
Jordy is all about creating views. He's over reacts to anything and everything. Kelly has proven he has us moving in the right direction. From winning the West in year one to being a play or 2 away this year from winning it again. He knows what he has to do to get the defense back to being elite but unless you hit on stud transfers it was always going to be a process. We have a good young group of DBs with another solid class coming in to built the depth. I'd imagine we are going to have a new DC next year as well. Jordy thinking he knows better than Kelly what kind of player can win college football games is comical.

I like Jordy but his continued push of Denver Harris has obliterated his credibility. Listening to JC, you’d swear Denver is the second coming of Patrick Peterson.

Kelly has to realize at some point, you have to put the best players in the game to win. He’s not doing that at the moment
