This is a total lie. Chapek never even had full control. Iger is completely to blame.

Bob strategically retired when he saw the writing on the wall from mistakes he had made in the past. Left just in time, let Chapek deal with the impending shite storm. Then Bob gets to come back as a hero and blame everything on Chapek and fix the wrongdoing

Yep. Chapek was only CEO from 20-22. All this bullshite was started and signed off on by Iger.

For instance, The Little Mermaid came out this year, but was in production for 4 years so it was greenlit by Iger.
quote:

"Oh, gosh, it felt like we had four babies. It took four years, four and a half years. It was such a sense of relief, accomplishment, joy, pride," said Rob Marshall, the director and producer of "The Little Mermaid."

These big woke companies come out and say this from time to time but then they keep doing the same stuff over and over. Pretty sure Disney themselves has come out with something like this before. They won't change though.

All went downhill when they started allowing cast members with neck tattoos.

Chapek got paid an assload of money to (golden) parachute off into the sunset, & hasn’t said a peep since, while Iger has used him as the scapegoat punching bag since his return. Makes me think it was all apart of the plan.

Chapek may be the smartest of the bunch; getting to retire, enjoy his family, no public headache, & is a multimillionaire

Yep, they are trying to improve their public image with these kind of statements without any intention of changing their woke mission.

Wasn't Chapek who ruined Star Wars.

Tough to change the momentum of such a behemoth company now that it's in full swing. Disney may have irretrievably ruined its brand, with the catastrophic collapse yet to even come.

Well Musk basically told him to frick Off
quote:

“Don’t advertise,” said Musk while speaking on stage at the summit moderated by Times financial columnist Andrew Ross Sorkin. After Sorkin asked, “You don’t want them to advertise?” The X CEO promptly answered, “No,” before continuing: “If someone is trying to blackmail me with advertising, blackmail me with money? Go frick yourself. Go. frick. Yourself,” and then adds, “Hey Bob,” presumably directed at Bob Iger, CEO of Disney — one of the companies who is boycotting X.

One guys company is printing money and the other is losing money.

I mean he's the CEO, he kind of controls literally all of that.
