What's Going On With The United States Postal Service?

I had an order that was suppose to be delivered yesterday through USPS, but they didn't even deliver mail in my neighborhood yesterday. They will miss a week day once... I'd say every 2 or 3 weeks, but I saw the mail truck in my neighborhood on Sunday, which is obviously a day they don't deliver. You would think that they would be more efficient today than they were 20 years ago because of technology.
And the new mail people in my neighborhood goes do to do in the mail truck to deliver mail.. The mailboxes are by people's front doors, so the mail people get out, bring mail, go back into mail truck, drive up about 15 ft, get out, delivery mail, and so on. The guy who use to do it before them, apparently was the mailman for 30+ years, but I know he use to finish the whole neighborhood on foot, every day (besides Sunday of course and federal holidays) no matter what. It would be cold, raining, just all around nasty weather and he never missed a beat. These people today..
Just in case someone tries to bring in race. The mailman who retired was a black guy. Now, it is either a black woman or a black guy who delivers our mail, but if it is even look like its going to rain, they stay in the truck until either after it rains or it doesn't look like rain is around anymore..

Last week I checked the mail and had one of those "sorry we missed you come pick your package up" papers.
So I checked my camera. The mailman never knocked. She had already had that card filled out and put it in. I had suspected this before.

They are contracted with Amazon to deliver on Sundays.

Did you give them a Christmas gift last year? They take that very serious. The old guy probably told the new ones about you.

In my neighborhood in Gonzales, sometimes I get mail delivered twice a day, other days, the outgoing mail is not even picked up. The mail lady drives around with music plugs in her ears. I really think that drivers of vehicles like that should have their ears “open”.

Had this happen. They specified a time frame they would come by the next day, a 2 hour window. I came home from work for the entirety of those two hours, no visit or knock. I go back to work.
Low and behold, I get back home and one of those stickers is on my door for a time that I was physically home. Liars.
So I go to the post office, And they refuse to hand over my package since my driver's license didn't match my mailing address. I had just moved states for my job.
No fricking way I was going to let those clowns hold onto or even attempt to again deliver my brand new irons. I cause a scene and get my clubs.
I am never that guy, but Jesus Christ those people suck.
There's even a website dedicated to figuring out how to talk to a real person when you call their customer service line. It updates whenever USPS updates their phone paths to throw people off

People in low income fields dont have pride in their work anymore. Its just about finishing as fast as possible, with the least amount of effort, to get that paycheck

it's called affirmative action. same thing that's wrong with every courthouse and especially every DMV in every major city in America.
