They think everyone loves their dogs like they love their dogs. They bring them everywhere. Just keep your dogs home. People just show up at other peoples house bringing their pups.

I've got two labs. Take at least one with me pretty much everywhere I go, even to friends house. Leave em in the back of my truck, which they are fine with. If the owner of the property is ok with letting them roam, I bring em out.

I don't understand why "dog people" feel it is their god given right to be able to take their dog with them everywhere. I get it, if I am at your house then your dog can do whatever the frick it wants but in a shared public space, those rules don't apply.

Take mine to Home Depot and Lowes but I put her in the buggy and have her on a leash. She stays put. In other words, I make her behave. Used to take her to my chiropractor with me but it was a dog friendly office. Doc usually brought his Corgis up there. I take mine to liquor store as well. Of course, they bring her behind the counter and play with her. Always tell me I can leave without her if I like.
