Morbid Post - I Know Of 2 People That Knew The Moment Death Arrived And They Verbalized It

For some reason, I have thought about both instances many, many times, especially as I am getting older. I’ve never talked to anyone about it, so I guess this post is therapy for me.
One was my stepfather’s sister. She was standing talking to some other family members and without warning said “I’m dead!” and dropped to the floor stone cold dead from a massive heart attack. She had been feeling poorly, but nothing that hinted at impending death.
The second was a family friend who was having a heart attack at home. His wife was with him and had called 911. He was having waves of pain that came and went. As one wave came on, he told his wife, “This is it. I’m gone. I love you and the kids.” and he died that instant.

So 2 people having massive heart attacks figured out they possibly could die from it?
Freaky stuff man. Clairvoyant even.

Crazy and sad as it sounds….I hope I get a last few kind words with my loved ones when I go.

No you essentially just knew people who knew a heart attack was coming on (pretty common)
and it’s not uncommon to die from a heart attack.

If it's any positive, I had a great aunt die and on her death bed she said "I see angels, they're beautiful" despite being basically unconscious for the few days before.

If I saw this I'd laugh my arse off... until I realized they were actually dead...

My Uncle Redd called out to his dead wife Elizabeth as he was dying. He was well known in the Watts trash collection industry.

Seen 2 people die in my life.
My father died when I was 10. I was the only one home with him and he dropped dead from a heart attack. Came in two waves. First made him slump over. He kinda recovered and said “I don’t feel good” and he dropped dead.
Second was at work in a meeting. Room had a window and construction occurring outside. Scaffolding being used with a lift and weights gave way, we all heard it happening, looked just in time to see a man’s skull crushed between falling scaffolding and a knee wall. He died pretty instantly, lots of blood.
Both impacted my view on life a great deal, the first obviously though it’s all kinda foggy, but the second nearly as much. I went to the the scene of the second with a coworker to see if we could help, can’t get what it looked like out of my head.

Both were heart attacks, perhaps both should have seen their doctors long before their death and at least delayed the Grim Reaper (probably would have died of tainted salmon mousse)

my mom passed a couple of years ago, I was in the room with her and had been the last few days of her life, a couple of days before she passed and she was still with it mentally till right up to the end, I had stepped out of her room to go eat lunch, when I walked back in the room she had the biggest smile on her face and I ask her what she was grinning about, she said "I been visiting with my mother," and she told me all about their visit, it was pretty cool because I know she still had her faculties and was ready to go, she had a great life right up until the end

I will hate to leave my loved ones, but I know waiting on the other side are my deceased family members. Including that baby we lost. I am flesh and spirit. Someday I will abandon this flesh and my spirit will fly.
Scripture says......
“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.” - 1 Corinthians 2-9
God is good......all the time.

When I was a sophomore in HS, I was putting on cleats for football practice and had a vision of an ambulance at my grandparent's home and thought that my GF had passed away. I shook it off, went to practice and then attended a youth group event that evening. When I returned home, my dad informed us that our GF had died of a heart attack that evening.

I consult in a nursing home .. this happens for sure. Also seeing and talking to their deceased parents/other family members.
