I finally got to watch both episodes of this on PBS. Damn good. Jay Dardenne did one helluva job narrating and really giving some great insight to our state's history.
If you ain't seen it, see it.

You are just the anus of a major river.

I love Louisiana.
But all 3 of my kids are up and out and not coming back and I have one foot out the door.
A brilliant, colorful history and absolutely zero future.

It seems to be getting more colorful every day.

The history of Louisiana is unbelievable. The future is unbearable.

We’re basically our own country

The Louisiana purchase doesn’t get nearly enough recognition as one of the biggest moments in US history. The course of history changed with that agreement.
Facts. My kid has to leave. I sometimes hold out hope that it’ll get better as these older generations die off and leave office, but I’m not so sure.

How can I watch this? I don’t see anything on the local PBS App and I’ve spelled it out while searching on Amazon Prime and used the voice remote, still nothing. I can’t get anything with that title to even pull up on Amazon.
