Twitter is outraged a Rockies fan yelled the n-word at a black player...UPDATE: he didn't

Oh BTW, the Rockies mascots name is "Dinger". What do you hear? Does it seek likely that in a ballpark full of people, someone can shout n____ twice loudly enough to be picked up by the field mics and then just walk off and nobody knows who said it.

Reminds of the Bill Burr bit where you're sitting in a bar watching the game and the guy next to you starts using the N-word and then starts talking to you and you're like what the hell are you doing dude?
You just don't drop the N-word in a crowded bar and then act like we're buddies just tossing it the people sitting next to you like a Hot Potato...here you go.

It's not clear to me.
But last year i was in a bar in Atlanta watching the braves game and ATL hit a homerun and i was looking at the TV behind the bar. I yelled, "whoo, get out of here, dinger!" And two of the three people at our table looked at me like i had just dropped an n bomb in the middle of Atlanta. Only the guy beside me heard me clearly.
My response to their reaction was to say, do you really think that i would be yelling that in a bar? I kinda feel the same way here.

I think I was 11-12 years old when my neighbor got tickets, took me and my dad to the dome. The tickets were halfway up the section behind first base middle of the game some black kid was selling peanuts.
Some redneck was there on the double date and started yelling at the kid hey n***r give me some peanuts even at that age I turned around and told him he shouldn't be talking like that
