Thursday night football in Dallas last night, pac 12 title in Vegas tonight, college game day in atlanta tomorrow.
I’d kill for his job in a heartbeat but damn dudes gonna sleep well tomorrow.

He’s working hard, is knowledgeable, studies the game, and does a good job. There’s always something to not like or disagree with, but he does a good job. Fowler too.

Yea I’ve always loved Kirk. I’m sure someone will bring up the crying thing or whatever but the dude is as good as it gets at what he does. Him and Fowler I think are the best announcing duo in all of sports.

Gets hammered with Fowler after the game. Kinda miss when they used to do recaps on IG after games on their bus. Herbie and Fowler just kicked back with a glass talking sports.

Plus there’s a lot of times where gameday and his Saturday announcing gig are in the same place (in know there’s also a lot where it isn’t but still)

Herbstreit is terrible on NFL games but good on college games. His problem is that he calls the pro game the same way he calls the college game and complements aspects that are routine in NFL, but rarer in college.
He also can't really comment at all on nfl players mindsets or behind the scenes aspects because he doesn't know about them.
Go watch a game by Collinsworth and a game by Herb. Chris and Romo see stuff that Herbie does not.

The comment was bad I would bet he would say as much a week from now. These guys have to talk to for almost 4 hours and are locked in on making it as exciting as possible it wont all be perfect.
