There was no way he was lasting the whole season unscathed playing that many snaps.

taking an unnecessary hit like that was not part of the calculation.

The injury was caused by a cheap shot. Not a result from overexertion caused by playing too many snaps

When you’re that big of an impact to your team, it puts a big target on you so cheap shots should be taken into account.

What’s his injury?

#11 for CSU needs at least a two game suspension.

What’s the precedent for that? Has a player ever been suspended for multiple game after a personal foul?

if that's the case, that sounds like he will be out longer than 3 weeks. Chris Simms suffered a lacerated spleen in week 3 of the 2006 NFL season and was on IR the rest of the year. His backup who started the rest of the year was Bruce Gradkowski, so it's not like he had some star who emerged after he went down either. If he's out three weeks, only broken ribs sounds more likely.

It was just my opinion.

ETA: I’ve seen some absolutely bullshite targeting calls cause one game suspensions. This was more egregious. Again, my opinion.

How’s he out only 3 weeks? I’ve only bruised a rib and that sucker hurt for months. I couldn’t take a deep breath without feeling a sharp pain.

If players are suspended for targeting, #11 should absolutely be suspended.
