I know the kid can’t help it, but we need all our RB’s to be successful and he’s our most complete back.

It’s now or never for John Emery. He is about to get a ton of snaps this fall camp. If he can’t figure it out now, he never will.

From a skill standpoint I think Emery is LSU's most "complete" back. TDP is more of a Les Miles type back. Big guy with good straight line power/speed, but not a ton or lateral quickness or "make you miss" ability.

Unfortunately, Emery's play has never fully utilized his skill set and TDP is LSU's most proven back. I'm hoping a "camp injury" is something that if he had it during the season he could play through it, but since it happened in the early part of camp there is no reason to make him play through it right now.

The world is not coming to an end. Coach O made it seem like its very minor.

Emery's time to shine, plus there are 2 more than capable freshman backs. If the O-line does well enough to open up the pass game then we will be just fine.

Is Emery healthy? Didn’t he just miss some practice time that press was sitting in on?

Camp injuries are usually pretty short are they not? Assume he will be back next week or something. Or by "some time" that means some games?

It isn’t a serious injury. Just something that if not addressed, will linger
