PM led this team to win a regional coming through the losers bracket. Last week, he was the King. Tonight, hems terrible because some experts think the should have left Hilliard in. PM is a major part of the reason LSU is even in a super regional.

He sucks. LSU shouldn’t have to fight through losers bracket. LSU should be hosting a regional and then the super regional.

Are you kidding???? He almost cost LSU the regional on Monday by pulling Hilliard and Helmers when both had more in the tank and the guys he replaced them with shite the bed!!!!

He’s on borrowed time. They fought their way back after his incredibly stupid lineup in game 1 last week and bad pitching decisions in game 7.
This weekend is unique in that LSU fans want to win, but are beyond ready to see Maineri move on down the road. His terrible pitching change cost them the game

Hilliard’s last pitch tonight buckled a middle-order hitter. He had good control of his curve which was baffling UT hitters. No idea if LSU wins even if Hilliard gets another inning or two but it was a bad decision by PM. He has no issues calling out players when they make mistakes. Maybe he should fall on the fricking sword in the post-game.

How about don't pull a pitcher with a 75 pitch count who is shutting down the favorite to win a super regional?
Unless MH told CPM he was done, there is absolutely no reason to pull him.

The team overcame his over managing of the bullpen. Perhaps they wouldn’t have been in the losers bracket if he didn’t put out the worst possible lineup.

Hilliard had 70 seven zero pitches thru 5 innings and you pull him to put in a freshman that had a good outing vs Oregon? Not smart from a coach that has the experience and resume that PM has.
