Whether they exceeded expectations or was a bust, which former LSU football player surprised you the most at the next level?
Mine would be Danielle Hunter

Duke Riley
Perry Riley
I believe Duke was a 3 star and Perry a 2 star coming into college. Perry played for several years. It looks like Duke has been in the league for 3 years.

Wade Richey having an NFL career while making field goals when he couldn't make shite while at LSU. I still hate him for all the missed field goals against Alabama in 1998.

I believed that Mettenberger could win a few games, unfortunately he didn’t not win any in the NFL.
It’s sad for the fans.
Matt Flynn never really got the chance to exceed expectations but did break some records in Green Bay so I’d give him the exceeded nod.

Kyle Williams. He was really good player at LSU, but he was a 5th round pick who went on to play 13 years with the Bills and made 6 Pro Bowls including being a Pro Bowler in his 13th and final season in 2018 (finished with the most sacks for a defensive tackle in Bills history).
Duke Riley and Deion Jones have already been listed and they have been surprisingly impactful very fast. Hunter as well, but he had an NFL body and just seemed to be undercoached at LSU (it seemed like he had a lot of potential, but it's still surprising how dominant he is though with sacks considering he had so few at LSU).

Mo Claiborne. He’s stuck in the league for awhile but man I thought he was going to be a perennial all pro shutdown corner.

I thought Brandon Taylor would have a much better career than he did
