I know it's a Unitas jersey, and we know he won't end up going to Baltimore. I could still enjoy watching him as an Indy Colt, but I sure do hope he doesn't go to a Saints division rival. I'd suspect Tampa Bay and Carolina will be looking for Qbs in the draft (They are letting Cam go).

Was it a public presentation? I’m only 30mins from Baltimore right now.

I'm sure it's a more formal presentation tonight.

Been a long damn time since that #19 jersey looked that good on a QB! Congrats Mr. Burrow! Well done, Sir.

Anybody got goosebumps thinking that will be Joe Burrow’s statue with his LSU jersey on next to it?

Is the university allowed to pay for his families travel expenses for these award ceremonies?

My Rant name clearly identifies that I was a huge Johnny Unitas fan. He was my childhood idol. Unitas made the 2 minute drill a "thing" when he lead his trailing team in the waning moments of the "Greatest Game Ever Played".
He called his own plays and was tough as nails, once throwing a winning TD with blood streaming down his face. He was smart, accurate and tough. Joe has all of those qualities.

For years, Unitas was the standard by which others were judged. I now think that applies to Joe Burrow at the college level.

I have no actual knowledge but I would assume someone covers this, whether its the NCAA (haha not), LSU, or the award foundations themselves.
