GD is the best colorman in the business for anyone who's played the game and has a true appreciation for how the game's played. Stop getting pissed off at him for throwing a compliment to the other side. It's not a closed-circuit broadcast to only LSU fans.

He sounded like he was at a funeral yesterday. He will be so gleeful and animated when refs are penalizing the shite out of us on critical plays. He loves him some Bama and Saban. frick that guy.

I’m not really sure why there’s so much negativity toward Gary D. The guy has a great football mind, and I enjoy listening to his commentary. As for the alleged hate toward LSU, maybe I don’t listen as well as others do, and maybe I’m missing something, but in the post game, he praised Joe Burrow, and during the game, he stated Stingley has the best ball skills that he’s seen (I don’t know if he meant ever or of current players). He later compared his ball skills to Charles Woodson.

It’s amazing watching him go from “half asleep” watching our team, even when our players make great plays, to chortling 700 times a game in disbelief of how phenomenal Bama is. The guy is a typical media narrative pushing arse kisser

I'm usually one to defend Gary on here, but he's had to absolutely horrific games the last 2 weeks. It has nothing to do with him complimenting the other team. He can't seem to get names right, plays right, calling players names for the wrong teams. I mean, it's his job to get those things right and he's been extremely poor in both of the last 2 games.

We get it, you have to be a big time football genius like yourself to appreciate someone who fricks up 8,000 times each broadcast. Nobody cares, go try too hard to sound smart somewhere else. Danielson isn’t even in the top 5 best color guys in college football, period

This keeps being said. And I disagree wholeheartedly.
But to be honest, I hate CBS’s entire product. There is no flow to the broadcast, and the games take an absurd amount of time. It’s possible that’s influencing my opinion.
