Chatham Anglers
Saul Garza has not played yet but should be with team early next week. Brady Smith from Florida is on the team as well so hopefully Garza can split some time between catcher and DH.
Bourne Braves
Cade Beloso: 5/19 (.263) with 2 doubles
Gio DiGiacomo: 2/11 (.182) with 1 double and 6 K’s
Small sample size from these guys so far with them getting up to the cape late and getting used to the wooden bats. Gio striking out at an alarming rate.
Harwich Mariners
Daniel Cabrera: 6/26 (.231) with 1 double and 1 HR
Hal Hughes: 3/20 (.150) with no extra base hits and 3 K’s
Still some time for these two to turn it around but not a solid start. I expect Cabrera to pick it up but Hughes hitting below .200 is disappointing. Was hoping a new hitting coach and change of scenery would get him going.
Yarmouth Dennis Red Sox
Gavin Dugas: 1/11 with 6 K’s
Have not paid attention to this team too much so I don’t have much insight but really hoping Dugas can turn it around

This is all a continuation of the season. Cabrera needs to figure his shite out. He went from superstar potential to an average player during the last 1/2 of the season.

Well this is less than optimal.

Maybe these guys need a break from baseball....
Posted on 7/4/19 at 8:42 am to TailgatingTiger26
Well, it appears the performances are the same no matter the coaching staff.

This is a wood bat league right? Makes a difference. FYI, Hal Hughes won’t get much better, I don’t see it.

Do we have fricking no one who can hit on this team? For the love of God.

This years team will have the same problem, can't hit!

Great talent evals. Great instruction. Great program development.
It’s all coming together after a decade into CPM’s tenure.
If only we had the resources and program tools in place to compete with the Vanderbilt’s of the world I feel like we are right on the cusp of contention with this stellar group of players and coaches.
Mainieri has created an incredibly average program for his defenders to clamor towards and prop up.
What a disgrace.

You're a moron

Obviously none of those stats mean anything, and the sample sizes are very small, but lord those are some awful stats all around.

So who pays for th she kids to go to the summer leagues? Family, program, team they play for?

Cabrera hasn't been the same since he injured his right wrist.
