I'm surprised what I'm seeing on this board. A bunch of whiny fans with hardly anything invested in this team is calling for a leadership change in the winningest program in the SEC because the coach hasn't won a national championship recently enough to suit them.
All the "I support the team, but I hate the coaches" is a line of BS. The coach is a part of the team, maybe the biggest part. I'm not saying Les Miles is the best coach in CFB, but he's world class and the reason LSU football is a national brand. LSU's current status isn't because Nick 'No Loyalty' Saban was here for a few years prior, it's Les Miles for the last decade plus. Yet, because it's been 8 years since a championship, you bunch of band wagoners are clamoring for change.
If you spent as much effort supporting the team as you are tearing it down, it would surely have a more positive impact. Winning is not a birthright. Having a college team capable of winning it all any year is not a given, but it has been with Miles at the helm. How about instead of acting like a bunch of spoiled little punks, you at least appreciate where we are every year, which is better than 99% of college football programs, again thanks to the man you all want fired.
Instead of jumping ship, how about you show some character and dance with the one that brought you. You bandwagon fans give the real LSU fan base a bad name.

11 seasons is enough. Les is great but it's time for some new blood in the program

Wait, so what you're saying is that I have to go to dance with Les Miles to be a true LSU fan or something?

I think the wheels are rolling despite what you or TD thinks.

2. Ohio State — 110 wins
3. Alabama — 107 wins

We finished last season ranked outside of the Top 25. As of today, we are outside of the Top 25 for the first time this year. There's a good chance that we may finish out of the top 25 for the second consecutive year.
You're an idiot.

It's the pattern of fixable mistakes (that shouldn't happen in the first place) over the last ten years, that aren't being fixed, and in fact, are becoming more and more common. Logically, many here see that in the near future these problems will result in a Florida/Texas type dumpster fire (from the last couple years), and we're close to that already.
There's a lot of big talk on here. But the substance of what I hear most ranters expressing is that Tiger fans appreciate what Miles has done in the past, but they know he is not the answer for the future. Hence the likely solution: thank him for his time plus a generous payout, and then move on to the future HC.

Bobby Bowden was the winningest coach at FSU too but it was time for him to go also...I guess you think he should still be there too...
