The “39” players thing, the program was in shambles, etc.
No longer has ANY bearing on the performance of the LSU football team from this day forward.

It takes time to build back from that level of destruction. So yes it is still part of the reason that the team isn't where it needs to be.
Now I'm not gonna speculate whether Kelly can get it there or not but Miles and O both won titles here

I mean that's not true considering that of those 39 players half transfered out anyway. It'll take 4-5 to turn around the roster and that's if there's no misses in recruiting.
Kelly and House deserve blame for the defense this season but to say that after this year O doesn't get anymore blame is crazy

The fact that you think having 39 scholarship players has no bearing 2 years later speaks volumes about your level of intelligence. We have a bunch of freshmen and sophomores running around on defense. Why? Well, you already know why.
Do you really think a guy who’s been in a system for less than a year is going to be at the same level as a guy who’s been in a system 3-4 years? Just stop. A freshman or at times a sophomore have almost no instincts in a new system.
That doesn’t mean the defense wasn’t trash. It doesn’t mean House shouldn’t be canned. But your original assertion is nonsense.
