I doubt we see many bench players without a 20+ lead out of the second half.

It's grambling. I expect our offense to "look" much improved.

I'll be watching the game for DB production purposes.

Not looking forward to the JD fanbois chirping "heisman contender" the entire game.

I don't let my happiness or satisfaction be based on a game played by a bunch of 19 and 20 year olds.

I really don't know yet. This sort of game is not easy to get up for as a fan after that loss.

What I hope to see is intensity and intentional playing rather than lackadaisical going through-the-motions sort of mail-it-in play.

That is more important to me than the margin of victory though I do think I would like to win by at least 3 TDs.

Absolutely.

I'd rather a win while working on getting the running game established rather than just running up a score.

I'd rather see different rotations and personnel in the defensive backfield looking for a combination that works well together even if it means giving up some passes to find that combination.

Weird that you don’t want an lsu player to succeed while calling yourself an lsu fan. Hmm.

Kelly needs to take the training wheels off for the freshman. Give Weeks, Toviano, Heard, Womack, and Jackson non-garbage time reps. Also, Sampson and Brown to a lesser extent, though Hilton and Anderson need those reps too.

This game is nothing more than a confidence booster for our guys.

We learn nothing about our team beating up on Grambling.

Normally, these games serve as a tune up to start the season and therefore serve a purpose.

But not when it’s the 2nd game on your schedule because you wanted a top 10 matchup week 1.

Not really. I don't view this game as any way to judge where the coaching staff and the players are in a positive sense. Now... there is plenty of chance to show more errors and not play cleanly and make stupid decisions yet again.

So small upside chance and more of a downside chance.

I will be satisfied if it appears that the team and coaches are using this game to work on fundamentals that will be essential for the tough games down the road. Margin of victory is not necessary, but should be the result.

I am not even watching the game. They can score 100 for all I care. Real test is how they do next week.

No! This, IMO, is a practice workout.
We should be able to name the score, what ever the coaching staff has in mind.
I feel sympathy for the Grambling players.

I’ll only be satisfied when we don’t schedule Southern and Grambling

There will be no satisfaction this weekend. The gnashing of teeth must continue until a semi-worthy opponent is slain.

We need to play hard for all 60 minutes. Do not take the foot of the gas.

If we punt more than twice, I’ll consider it a failure
