I just want him to play sound defense honestly. Yesterday was probably the worst I've ever seen him play in the field, all starting with that first grounder that he should have let White have since White was charging towards the bag and would have had the easier throw, instead they nearly collided and he had to throw across his body and couldn't get it in on time.
Just play sound fundamental defense. Anything at the plate is lagniappe, would be nice to see his bat come through but we have other guys that can do the heavy lifting at the plate, we just need the SS position on defense to be solid and not allow unnecessary baserunners that extend innings.
I'll be rooting for him to play a clean game and help us win a title.

If I was JT I'd go to coach and say "look, I know I'm hurting the team, I can't continue this, you gotta sit me down. And I promise I won't tell anybody about the dirt I have of you".
I mean I put this on the coach. If he ain't gonna sit him as bad as he is, that's on the coach. It's simple. If Jay wants to go down with him like Miles went down with JJ or Haslett went down with Brooks, that's on him. I'm not blaming the college athlete. We all see it. At this point it's absurd and embarrassing and no time for some ego thing. Why is Saban a winner? Because he has the balls to sit Jalen hurts for Tua in the MNC. Don't be passive and worry about the kids feelings, be aggressive. He's got the offseason to get over it. This thing aint gonna fix itself at this point.
