Thompson is a class act. Defense has been solid all year, his bat will come alive tonight.

He had some better ABs yesterday. I’m pulling for him to redeem himself big time

Just don’t ask him to bunt. Lordy that’s ugly to watch.

I too think he will lay down a bunt that hits the ground before being caught. Let’s roll!

Would rather him just be stellar in the field if we had to choose one or the other.

He at least made some solid contact the last couple of games... he does hit it down the line a lot, maybe they hit the line tonight.
He plays hard and is one of the most improved players from the way he played last year.

Nobody wants that to happen more than he does. I could see it.

Not holding my breath though…..

Thompson 2-4, bombs by Jobert and Dugas, Tigers win 5-4, Wake Forest buttons their shirts back up…

We can hope. I’ve crapped on him a lot lately but last night my attitude shifted. It’s gotta be a lonely feeling up there knowing how bad you’ve been.

I’m rooting for him tonight because as a person he deserves it.

Paul Skenes being on the mound has a way of reinvigorating guys.

I'm hoping for it. He looked bad the night he popped up the 2 bunts and then hit the ball hard a couple times his last at bat with almost getting one fair down the line that would have scored probably 2. Last night he put together a couple good ABs and hit it hard a couple times just right at people. Hopefully the trajectory keep climbing and he finds a few holes tonight.

I hope he doesn’t suck any Dick on his way walking up to the plate. Dude has been a trash can. Hope he breaks out but not holding my breath

He’s fighting it . When he breaks through, and he will break through, it will be glorious.
