Cooper is built for a tourney like this. Can close or can come in and get through the lineup, buy you a few innings, will be available to go more than he isn’t. 22 pitches 1 1/3 is who Cooper is.

Love Cooper & I think CJJ would probably bring him in rather than Guidry in the Top of the 8th if he could do it again.
I also think CJJ should’ve let him pitch to at least 1 other batter. Im worried now that Guidry’s (being a Freshman) confidence may be shot now for the CWS. Hope im wrong bc LSU is gonna need EVERY SINGLE good pitcher weve had this season to win it all - JMO.

If you have ever heard Guidry interviewed I doubt his confidence will be an issue.
