My prediction is that he wrecks havoc this year. Can’t wait til the Fall!

Not a huge limb to be out on.

Maasons limbs are pretty big

I could have worded that better

Probably has five huge limbs to stand on.

I agree. Most folks outside of our fanbase don't know much about him.
It is unfortunate that the freak accident happened last year to him.

Can't even explain properly how loud I groaned when he went down 10 minutes into the FSU game last year. I was all aboard the hype train and was ready for Glenn Dorsey 2.0

Hell we may have won against fsu if he didn’t get hurt

He has all the trappings of an All American!

At the start of the season last year, he was the best player on the team.
If fully recovered, he will be this year.
With full respect to Perkins, Campbell and Nabers.

Hell, if he had taken over coaching special teams after his injury, we still may have won.

Not only was it unfortunate that the accident happened to him, but it was also unfortunate that the accident happened to him when it did--after the very first defensive series of the season.

Yeah hopefully he doesnt injure himself celebrating in the first series of the season again. That really sucked. Probably a playoff team with him healthy all year.

Him and Wingo would have feasted. Wingo carried the DL last year. With improvement to an already stellar year alongside a guy who will undoubtedly get a lot of double teams, i see the potential this defense has. If the CB’s can become a solid unit I see a very lethal defense. Perkins, Speights, Smith, and Wingo all in the middle of our defense. Should make everyone’s job a lot easier.

Maason looked like Glenn Dorsey out there in the few minutes we had him. The growth he would have had last is sad that we missed it, but at least we get another year.

Maason Smith is a perfect example of why I don’t like when our players are acting dumb all the time and over-celebrating after plays.

Let’s get him through a season
