What would you like to see at the Box?

I agree like most that the Box is falling behind as others make renovations. What items would y'all like to see in the future? I think there are items that can be done quickly to provide quick upgrades.
1. Move bullpens off the field.
2. Install chair backs down the foul lines.
3. Provide some type of berm/open area in right center for students. (similar to other SEC venues)
Then there are other items that can be done for larger long term upgrades.
1. Continue suites down the foul lines.
2. 360 access around entire stadium.
3. Some type of bar/lounge area with field view access.

1) New date on the intimidator
2) left field bleachers replaced with some decent bleachers like rf has
Don't care at all in the tiniest little bit about anything else.

Double the capacity of the place

Seating upgrades as a whole. Chairbacks everywhere, a cool little outfield spot. Etc etc.

What an original thought for a thread

All of the above. But if no new seats please for the love of god add some shade over bleachers so my legs don’t have to be pried off of them with a spatula

I’ll add what I posted in the other thread.
“The thing I’d LOVE to see changed as well as miss the most from the old AB is how close the seats were to the field, specifically behind home plate.
It 100% gave us a real or more of a home field advantage with fans screaming into the ears of the opponents batters. Man I miss that.”
Maybe I’m just being nostalgic but it seemed better

A 4-5 story hotel/apartment/suite building with large balconies facing both Alex Box and Tiger Stadium needs to be built in left field. In a perfect world it will be mixed use with bar/restaurant on the ground level.
While not the most necessary, there is one concept that is no brainer as it will generate significant income the day it is completed. There are numerous ways to make this profitable. Partner with a hotel chain for daily rental, upscale student housing, short term rental and football season rental for tailgating.
Long term planning could involve a larger mixed use development down the length of Gourrier to the river.
Another option is the LSU golf course is in a serious need of maintenance. Make it more student friendly and convert it to a lighted par 3 course and poor mans Top Golf type facility while utilizing the property bordering Gourrier as part of the mixed use concept. The income generated would allow the remainder of the area to be well maintained 9 hole course
The one constant that ties all of this together is its an investment that will generate income and not just a maintenance expenditure.

The Obsession with a berm is overrated. Unlike most sec schools, we have zero hills. The cost wouldn’t be worth it, people would just stay home and watch on tv. Take that money and actually upgrade the rest of the stadium.
Keep Priority points out of it and let people on the waiting list and get a shot at the new tickets. Let people that are actually going to attend get a shot at them. The box is literally a grave yard because people have had their tickets for 30+ years and just hang on to them because they don’t want to lose them and rarely attend.
