Maybe no team in the SEC did a better job reloading its roster through the portal. This is especially true on defense. The Tigers ranked 51st in the FBS last season in yards given up per play but will surround established contributors such as edge rusher Harold Perkins and linebacker Greg Penn III with newcomers from Oregon State (linebacker Omar Speights), Syracuse (cornerback Duce Chestnut) and Texas A&M (Denver Harris). Harris is a special talent who played at a high level when on the field for the Aggies as a true freshman. Jayden Daniels should get better in his second year as the starting quarterback which will give the offense more balance.

Just beat #5 in the first game and LSU will be in the top 10 the following week!

I am so fine with this. Will be underdogs going into FSU.

Every ohter publication has us top 10 if not top 5. Rage bait. Vegas has us favored over FSU

15 feels really low.
We bring but a ton of key pieces.

Ridiculous.
Iowa and their non-existent offense? LMAO.

Good. I want this team playing with a chip on their shoulders.

Post this on the bulletin board in the locker room...

No way it happens, but I would love to enter the season ranked 15th by the AP.

Iowa had the worst offense I've ever seen in college football last year. Were behind that ha.... and Texas being where they are is only issue in the rankings ahead of us. Could move around 5-15 any which way really... besides Iowa

Their qb situation is so bad that saban brought in the kid from ND, who sucked last year
No way should they be top 5 with no QBs

No Will Anderson, no Bryce.
Yet we return almost all of our production and we're 12 spots lower

I'm Ok with this. If BK is the best coach at LSU since Saban, here is how Saban's NC year started
