Coach Ed Orgeron at the 2018 Spring Luncheon

Little did we know what he had in store. Someone compared Musselman to CEO the other day, saying Musselman made Sweet 16 3 times so he was a better coach in his sport than CEO. Who the frick remembers quarterfinalists vs National Champions? He assembled the greatest team to ever walk on the college gridiron. Kudo’s to O. LINK

content is unavailable. In the world of Orgeron and Musselman, OP is Curley Hallman.

Oh we thought Ed was such a great “program manager.”
Then we found out the extent of his contribution. The HC position could have been vacated that season, the Aranda-Ensminger-Brady triumvirate could have run things—and that team still would have gone undefeated and won the NC.

But you would not have had the players to make it happen because Aranda and Brady didn’t do the recruiting. They both hate recruiting. That is why you haven’t seen Brady in college as an OC.

The amount of leftover hate some of you have for Orgeron is ridiculous. How hard is to admit the obvious? He was a damn good coach from 2016-2018, a great coach in 2019 and for whatever of a plethora of reasons, he fell apart in 2020-21 and got fired as he deserved?

Uhmmm wasn’t the big criticism of Ed that he didn’t go woke enough? Some of you dumb frick politards are worse than the “woke people” you hate

This has been on your mind?

Yeah not that O isn't/wasn't somewhat compassionate, the whole blm march was a forced act not a chosen one. LSU and the team went woke not Orgeron. He was fired for many reasons but that bullshite was on society, the players and LSU not him.

Please take your mask off when you type you stooge. You obviously have never been part of an organization that was led by a passionate, charismatic, driven leader with a vision, or can’t recognize what O did due to some other inherent deficiency in your pea brain.

The sport of Basketball is much different than Football. Two things can be true. Musselman can be a better coach in his sport than Coach O is in his while still giving O credit for 2019.
shite Will Wade is a better Coach than O. Coach O really only had 2 successful seasons during his Head Coaching tenure.

But that’s when he lost the team.

Nobody believed Orgeron was a great coach. The consensus was that he was a great recruiter, loved Louisiana and WAS a likable guy. Then 2019 happened and the ego that he had tucked away came back.
Such a shame because had he not spiraled out of control I feel confident that he would eventually put together the right pieces once again. The issue was the rollercoaster and the instability. Needless to say, Kelly is our guy and it all worked out. Thank you O but we’re moving forward.

2016 - O came in and rallied the troops to finish the season strong. Played Bama tougher than anyone not named Clemson.
2017 - Troy loss was the low point, somehow he got the team back on track right away and finished the season strong.
2018 & 2019 - no explanation needed
2020 & 2021 - hot garbage. Reason he was fired. Coupled with his off the field behavior.

2017 as a middle of the pack SEC team is a successful season to you? 2017 would have been one of Les Miles' worst seasons and Miles was an average Coach.

Interim Head Coach is different than Head Coach. It was not his team nor his system. Does he get credit for keeping players motivated? Sure but that doesn't count toward a successful season as a Head Coach.

Simply put, O is 100% responsible for putting together and coaching the best team ever in NCAA football history!

No person is 100% responsible for anything but as a I said earlier two things can be true. He can get credit for 2019 while also being judged for his many failures as a Head Coach outside of 2018-2019.
