Jayden is passing on Mardi Gras.

In light of the new video I’m not sure the negatigers realize that Jayden passed on partying to get extra work and better himself before spring camp.
That speaks volumes. I follow a bunch of the guys from the team and a good majority of them are enjoying the Mardi Gras break by going to parades and hanging out locally. They’ve worked hard this off-season and earned that right so no complaints here.
I just want us to recognize what leadership and hard work look like.
Jayden is putting in the time to be the best.

I mean I’m glad he is working hard but Mardi Gras is a stupid holiday to begin with can’t say I blame him for a hard pass on it.

I’m happy that he’s “passing” on Mardi Gras but would be more happy if he was “passing” downfield.
He’s incapable. Doesn’t have the brain for it. He’s been a starter in college for what, 4 seasons? No amount of offseason training will make him a good QB. Sorry.

When I went to LSU as a GA kid it didn't mean anything to me either stepping on campus. But obviously you figure out it's a big deal and an amazingly fun experience, I'm sure it's the same with JD.

We have a QB already and he just had the second-best season a QB at LSU has ever had, statistically speaking. The backup isn’t terrible either but he’s where he belongs - in the backup position. There is literally no reason to bench Jayden Daniels as of yet. He’s not perfect but he’s damn good and I fully support him as the starter.
