I remember back in the early 90’s (I believe) LSU started something like 15-0 or something.

Anyone remember this?

I don’t remember the best start ever. 2013 was pretty good.

2010 was a really good start and then we bottomed out hard.

Yes, it was 19-0 now that you say that. I want to say it was 92.

Don’t forget about the 25(?) game win streak during the last year at the old stadium.

I wanna say that was 97. I just remember bomb after bomb that year.

I guess I’m wrong, but screw it that 97 season is something I’ll never forget

And BTW, I didn’t mention this years team, I was just asking about the winning streak they had in the 90’s to start the year.

The Gold rush. I think it was 23 games.

ETA: confirmed, 23 games.(NCAA record is 34.) How good was that season? That was the Cal-Irvine year.

I think they won their first 16 or 17 in 1996.

It's 17 games until A&M

We'll see how the IOWA, Butler, and Central Conn State games go first

That 23-game streak was Coach Pawl's magnum opus

They started 22-0 to begin 1997 season.

I believe they lost second game of first SEC series to Georgia.
