I'm a little disappointed with the ending of the season but I only had LSU winning 8 games before the start of the season. With Purdue upcoming we have a legit shot at a double digit win season.
Coming off a bowl game with 38 scholarship players and a WR playing QB, I am optimistic of the near future. We are ahead of schedule.

This team absolutely over achieved this year. Big picture wise I’m happy AF. But we just lost two games in embarrassing fashion that would have put us in the playoffs. That’s a fact and people are allowed to be disappointed. That includes players and coaches.

There is nothing wrong with being disappointed with how the season ended.
Everyone associated with the program is disappointed, but what they were able to achieve was simply Amazing. If you can’t recognize that…you never will.

I'm happy with the results, especially given a brand new coach, brand new QB, and many units put together through the portal.
FSU game was a mulligan.
TN loss was embarrassing but they were hot.
A&M loss was deflating. I think this is where alot of people are still stuck, and it's hard for me to swallow, too.
I didn't expect to beat Georgia. On the other hand, scratch the fluke plays, getting no breaks whatsoever, and we're right in that game.
Everything wrapped around the 4 losses, except for lackluster showings against Auburn and Arky, was great.
It'll be a memorable season for me, just in beating Bama in a gritty game that we beat up on Bryce Young.
We need to beat Purdue.

That’s right. You think Kelly is happy with the season? No. You think the coaching staff is happy with the season. No. You think the players are happy with the season? No. Losers set the bar low and are happy when achieved. Winners set the highest of goals and are mad, driven when they aren’t achieved. Regardless of realism. The reality is this team had a legitimate shot at the CFP leading into the last week of the regular season and blew it. It’s not unreasonable to be disappointed in the outcome of the last two games.

Actually I think overall Kelly is happy with this season and what his team displayed in toughness during the season. The team played a lot of freshmen and newcomers in key positions.
It has been a very successful beginning to his program here.

They are entitled spoiled rotten kids that think every season should be 2019 where the roster was obviously LOADED with talent and then came Burrow. Santa Claus could have coached that team to a championship.

I’m one who’s always been very critical and hard on our football program, but never in my life have I felt so much optimism for LSU football after losing two games in a row. I was bummed out after we lost to A&M, but was no where near as mad as I would have been in the past. There’s so much to look forward to for this program. We finally have a competent football coach and I think that’s why I have so much optimism. I’ve never had this much trust and faith in a football coach of ours before. Can’t even said I had this same trust and faith with Saban.
