How many 9 win seasons will we allow Kelly to have?

I was all for letting Miles go after a 9 win season because Louisiana deserves a national contending, flag ship team. I think this has been a heck of a rebuilding year, but from this point on 10 wins minimum.

As many as we gave Saban during his time at LSU.

You mean the lack of intelligence in this fan base. So the idiots think because we get a bunch of freshmen next year that we should automatically be a 10 win team. I think our offense will be much improved especially the Oline but we will still be young at DB and LB. Will take a little time to mature.

I am predicting 9-3 next year as well. We are going to have secondary issues (potentially), depth will still be a concern in certain areas (really need Maason Smith to come back 100% in Aug which for a guy his size that's iffy), and the QB position could still be a week to week thing as far as production. Daniels does some nice things but his passing and reads are extremely inconsistent from one play to the next which is strange given his experience as a starter at this level. If Howard wins the job from him next August, we are going to be dealing with the growing pains of a redshirt freshman with zero experience even with his talent level. I'm not sure QB is going to be a strong point next fall. Hopefully it's at least a little better.

2024 and 2025 is where we will be seriously contending. I don't believe we were seriously contending this season despite our ranking before Saturday's colonoscopy. UGA was going to beat us regardless. No team outside the SEC would have been ranked in the top 5 with two losses.

Nothing about Les' firing should have been results driven...Les in my mind should have been fired when you realized that he lied about evolving the offense and was never going to change his outdated offensive philosophy....that was at least 1 season, probably 2-3, before he actually got fired.

This is absolutely insane. We have a coach who took a team of 69 scholarship players to the SEC West title. A coach who had to rebuild an entire program. This coach has exceeded all but the completely idiotic expectations. We don't want to become Auburn.

Some posters on this site never experienced Curley Hallman or Gerry DiNardo, and it shows.

Just be honest. If Kelly starts putting together 10 win seasons, you are going to move the bar to him not winning enough SEC Titles, or making the playoffs.

If he does that, you will move it to not winning enough in the playoffs.

It's national title or bust every single year for some of you idiots.

I know the last game was a punch in the gut, but the success of the season overall is well beyond what anybody could have expected. But again, some of you are so absolutely dumb that you can only live in the moment of the last games result.

We compete in the toughest fball conference in the US, one that will only get tougher in 2025 with Texass and Oklahoma coming in. 9 wins is a good season and we still have a shot at 10 or even 11.

I agree with those that posted that 2024 and 2025 should be very good seasons for us. Anything before that (like 2022) is total gravy.

Based on his 10 yr, $95 million contract I’d say at least 7 or 8.
