Perkins Closing Speed??

How can Perkins become faster in his closing speed? I am worried some Olympic athlete may get out of his reach from closing in on them

Track speed and football speed are two different things as you saw with the Arky QB Saturday. LSU probably won’t face a faster person than him the rest of the year.

I shite you not, there are posters on the SEC Rant that believe Stetson Bennett is faster than Perkins and will elude Perkins if he gets in the open field.

Oh his acceleration rating on the old EA NCAA would be 99. He's one of the fastest college LBers I have ever seen in pursuit. I'm talking Devin White, LaVar Arrington, Patrick Willis type closing speed. I don't know how fast his 40 yard dash would be in shorts but in terms of football speed, dude is unnatural.

I guarantee you... If you put JD5 10 yds away, HP40 would be on him before he decided to run. I don't even know how fast he would run a 40. But I think he has some sort of extra boost he taps into when he sees that quarterback start moving. Something that isn't really seen until game time. Or maybe he can. All I know is dude flips into Big cat mode and runs down every gazelle he sees out on that field.

I wish they would do one of those analysis video segments on him. I forget the name of the show but they did a few of the LSU players over the years. I feel like it was around draft time and on espn just cant think of the name.

Sports Science and i think he is faster than Juan Pablo Montoya!! At least Perkins hits his opponents not the vehicle drying the track.
