LSU needs TCU to lose. @UT and @Baylor, I think it's likely

Another question is will they put Oregon or us at 6. One very awesome thing going for us is if we beat UGA, then playoff committee will see us as better since they lost like 49-3 or something like that.
Mich will likely lose to Ohio St. Even if Ohio St loses, they have 1 quality win at Penn St, which I think 2 loss LSU who beat Bama, UGA, and Ole Miss would get in over them.
I think the 1 HUGE benefit to LSU getting in if they win out, is TCU losing 1 game... which they have 4 more with championship game.

Nope! All LSU needs to do is win out. By being the SEC champions over GA they both make the playoffs, with GA having 1 loss. If LSU loses the SEC Championship then your thoughts might apply.

With Clemson losing, there can only be two other undefeated P5 teams (TCU and winner of OSU/Michigan) if we win out. We are 100% in the playoffs if we win out and win the SEC CG, they're not leaving out the SEC winner. TCU's season is irrelevant to us.

Right. The SEC has won 3(?) consecutive titles. The SEC champ is the de facto automatic qualifier.

It’s very simple. We win out, we’re in.
No way the committee keeps out the SEC champions who would have taken down number one Georgia in the SECCG. LSU and Georgia both in.
We lose to Georgia in the SECCG, we are definitely out. Then we enjoy our bowl game while being thankful for a great season and going further than we thought possible in Year One of CBK.

If LSU doesn’t lose again they’ll be in the playoff as the SEC champion. That’s the only way they make it.

Clemson losing helped, but this isn’t automatic. I’m with OP, the 1 team we need to lose for some breathing room is TCU. They’re 100% getting in at 13-0. We both can get in, but it’d have made me feel better if they’d have lost today.

If LSU wins out and Ole Piss and Bama do as well. Then LSU will be in the playoffs IMO regardless.

I get the hate for both, but we beat them. I want both of them to keep winning and starring up at LSU all the while. They aren't putting Bama or Ole Miss in the playoff, and if they both finish strong, it looks better for LSU.
Ole Miss is probably dropping another one this weekend to Bama. Have both of them finish 10-2 and that makes LSU look even better.
And if in those final ranking discussions you have an 11-2 SEC Champ LSU, with wins over 12-1 UGA, 10-2 Bama, and 10-2 Ole Miss (all likely in the Top 15), and a loss to a Top 10 Tenn, I don't think the other teams sitting at the table are relevant at that point. LSU is in, and the question is, who else is with them?

I can’t get over how we’re now in the mindset “we win out and we’re in the playoffs”
Don’t get me wrong, it’s fantastic!
With the last two seasons, the coaching staff change, and this cobbled together team, I really would’ve been happy with 8-4, looking forward to great seasons down the road.
It appears that we skipped a few steps and CBK is a bonafide genius.

Obviously since they play next week. But we need Bama to beat Ole Miss and Ole Miss to beat MSU and win out, giving us 2 wins over 10-2 teams. Probably need Georgia to skull frick everybody else on their schedule and be a significant, undisputed #1 going into the SECCG. Beating them in Atlanta would give us the best 3 wins by 1 team this year, and may be enough to overcome our 2 losses.

If LSU wins out they are in. If they lose again they are out. What anyone else does has no relevance
