we will get a tell on BK's plans for next year's QB.

If Nuss doesn't start getting some regular playing time, he might as well head to the portal. walker has 3 games left to play in. so if walker is going to compete next year, he should get some meaningful snaps while being able to retain his redshirt. If neither one get meaningful snaps, that means BK plans to start JD next year.
I'm not going to moan and groan until it plays out. but i am very concerned. I am so traumatized by the les miles years i am overreacting to Kelly making the same type of mistakes - clock managment, sticking with a bad qb, not seeing what the whole world sees (like not deferring on the coin toss)etc. it is really painful.

If he sticks with JD next year, he's making a big mistake. It will be a mass exodus of WR's and that might actually happen at the end of the year if he sticks with JD throughout the rest of this year.

On the one hand I get the frustration with Les not changing the offense, on the other it's seems a bit overstated that the coach with the most sustained success in LSU football history has traumatized you.

There is a Walmart less than a quarter of a mile from my house that I can get to without getting on any major thoroughfare. I understand why people despise Walmart and I would never shop there again if it weren't so cheap and convenient.
Les was like that Walmart to me. I understand why people were frustrated with Les and I would have been all for firing him if he wasn't winning so consistently.

Doubtful that he hates him, he probably thinks he would be a disaster in this offense, though.
Nuss may excel in a G5 or even a Pac12 offense though.

Never understand how an objective fan can shite all over a rs freshman QB who has started one game and that was as a TF against a quality SEC opponent. He pressed and played poorly against a garbage team this year. He also has a much stronger arm than daniels, better size, and will sling it. He actually reads a D better than Daniels. He should get a shot. Gunslinging can be coached. Daniels is 4th year and deer in headlights. Any objective fan says nuss has much higher upside. Hell, both Flynn and Mauck said it preseason.

I guarantee you if he had started day 1 this year he would be a hell of a lot more advanced than our current QB...hell Daniels didn't excel in the PAC. All nuss needs to do is not gunsling so much...lot more NFL potential than Daniels will ever have

I guarantee if Nuss had started day one LSU would have at least twice the turnovers they have now and would probably have 1 or two more losses.
Of course both your and my guarantees are worth nothing.
