You never know - I have seen soccer players tear an ACL just dribbling the ball down the field with no one around them

Wasn’t like it was some obnoxious celebration kid jumped up while following play and landed wrong. Feel terrible for him

Both Bryce and Stetson had scary moments on post-play celebrations.

Bryce's was less noticeable.

Stetson's was scary after a chest bump post-TD. You could see the movement and his immediate reaction.

Glad both were not major

I never want to see any of these kids get hurt, but it's always tragic when non-contact injuries shape their future and have such big impacts to the team.

Huge loss for LSU this year and really sucks for Smith. Hope to see him come back strong. Bright future.

Reminded me of the injury to Beloso on the baseball team.

I feel so bad for the kid. He was wrecking shop. Blew up one okay in his own.

How my daughters went. Sometimes it’s just ready to go. If it didn’t do it then, then it was gonna happen at some other random time.

Yeah calling that a celebration injury is pretty misleading. He made an excited jump moments after his teammate made a play. Literally something that happens by all players after a nice play.

It’s not like he was doing some obnoxious celebration dance like how one of the Grammatica brothers tore their knee up.

One of those injuries where you see it happen and think “shite that’s just not freakin fair.”
It sucks. Random. No one else involved. Happened in the blink of an eye.

I always wonder if there was something wrong before that, and the landing finished off the tear.

Freak injury. Hopefully he recovers 100% and is ready for next year- he deserves it.

Hard to believe with all of LSU's recent injuries this is the worst by far.

Changed that game and this season.

Correct. Big misconception that you have to be cutting hard on your knee to damage the ACL. He probably already had torn it and could have never known it until that one play.

This literally happened to me. Jogging from 3rd base to home, bam. Right knee ACL. Crazy how that happens.

They act like he flexing and showing his arse. He literally just jumped up out of excitement and enthusiasm. Frick the media.

Really hate it for him. On the positive side, Wingo came in and had 6 tackles and the goal-line fumble recovery.

Man was doing nothing wrong. Freak accident. Not like he was gyrating over a down opponent giving the throat slash motion. Frick the Press!!
