Let’s face it this baseball team

Has some really talented players. But has weaknesses at very important parts. Starting pitching and above average fielding. No catcher on the roster that is above average. Milazzo good defender. But is an out 85 percent of the time. Travinski has power. But cannot catch at this level. He can hit balls to different area codes. However is a DH or 1st baseman

Hell the offense disappears too at times. Thats the strength of the team.

Pitching isn’t a problem tonight. Pitching is the only reason LSU is still in this game.

They are not a good hitting team, either. They have over-inflated batting averages against crappy pitching on crappy teams. They have not done anything against mediocre and above pitching. Hell, they made the State pitcher look like Cy Young tonight, sound familiar?!? Simply put, not a good baseball team at all!

Our pitching hasn't been the issue that people want to make it out to be.
Defense has been a major issue but offense has been extremely disappointing.

Timely hitting has been a problem for a while now. The fielding errors are a new thing. And playing with the shift on with men on base has also hurt at times.

Tonight has been good pitching on both sides. But stats wise through 10 games we have hit good in sec play. Played bad defense and had bad starting pitching.
