Lets see how this all shakes out. They talk about all of this TV revenue wihtout any backing. Texas, OU and A&M gets the lion share. Give me a break! I give this conference about 3 years.

Well, they've paid more for bigger lost causes. Just look at the BCS.

I can't imagine. That would mean that they are doing stories about themselves without acknowledging it.

Frick ESPN. If CBS was wise they would offer up two SEC games on Saturday....they did it once last year. ESPN would be left scrambling for the 3rd rated SEC game.

no one. they have a contract, ut, ou, and a&m just gets a bigger peace of the pie.

people forget. s.e.c. doesn't just have a espn deal, they have a cbs deal too.

big XII has less than half the money as sec. just split it up favorable to those three schools.

The Big 12 is doomed then. YOu have to split the money. Being part of a conference is being part of an organization. One can't get greater benefits than the rest. It doesn't work out that way. UT gets stronger at the expense of their conference brothers will only make the conference weaker.

it's why others bolted already. 3 to 5 years, this story will replay itself.

i call BS. if a conference wanted to pay your school more than others, youd take the money too. and its whats best for their conference: keep UT and OU at the top at everyone's expense. that would explain their last decade roaring through the conference with the winner of the RRS in the BCSCG

Doesn't this contradict the reports that Beebe was promising an average of $17mm per?

RRS...that game sucks. So be it a conference aligned for UT or OU to dominate. A&M could of been served so well going to SEC. I give the big12-2 about 3 years to survive.

Big XII has two maybe three good games per year. It's a weak conference. The north w/o Nebraska is a joke. If they add Houston and TCU it just makes the conference a bigger joke.
What TV network would want to pay big money for that lineup of games?
