That's right, and now that they messed around and hired a real football coach, watch out. Damn Hogs give LSU hell in football! Best thing to happen to Arkansas in a long time is Frank Broyles stepping down at AD. Broyles helped drum up a lot of money to upgrade the Hogs facilities but he made some bad football coaching hires. Hogs are pretty decent in baseball as well. LSU does not recruit that state very much but Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee and USC do. But back to the Waltons, Stephens, and Rockefellers, that is in they make the Forbes I'm rich list, and even Jerry Jones can't say that. No doubt about it, Arkansas brings a lot to the SEC!

One thing will always be true... Most of what you get out of Bevo is bullshite. A fair portion of the rest is green house gases.

I agree 100% - Arkansas is no drag on the SEC. They have been competitive in every sport, more so than other original SEC founders have been over the years. Now they have a good FB coach and will be even more competitive this year, IMO.

that was a very entertaining read...they start out with its a slap in the face to the SEC. Someone calls them delusional then they accuse the SEC of cheating and other bullshite. They also accuse arkansas of being terrible at basketball since we joined the SEC. They got made when someone mentioned the national championship though, apparently it didn't work with their argument

Our AD comes out yesterday and tells everyone that we are happy to be in the SEC and that we are staying right where we are. This after we supposedly begged the Big 12-2 for a spot in their conference.
If we would have actually done that and asked for a spot in the Big Texas league, would our AD come out and say we are not going anywhere?
then some Texas douche bag gets on all the radios out of Texas about how we wanted to join the league but we did not have the votes to get in currently. Was this just to gauge our interest in seeing if we would want to join the league? To try and get us to contact them if we are interested?
I do not believe Arkansas sent out anything to Texas with any desire to join the Big 12-2. Maybe Jerry Jones and some other business men in Texas would love to have Arkansas in the Big 12-2 but that is not and will not happen. Them coming out with all the misinformation is nothing more than a diversion to remove the hostility Aggie fans have for the league and make it appear more positive. Wow look what you have Aggies, a league in which even Arkansas could not get into and it is desirable.
