Would be perfectly fine with either, but give me Aranda if I have to choose.

Look at Baylors offense vs. ULL.

Also remember Aranda is already a defensive guy and Napier has very little playcalling experience.

I just don't think Aranda is proven enough to take a defensive coach for the HC position. Hell, Matt Campbell has accomplished much more than Aranda and I wouldn't want him over an offensive guy either.

Head coaches of 3 of the top 4 teams in the nation currently are "defense guys".

From what attribute? Napier isn't shite compared to Aranda. Aranda was actually an in-demand coordinator by many top schools.

That may be, but what is has Bama been known for the last few years? An unstoppable offense.

Clemson is struggling this year, but has one of the best defenses. A half way decent offense and they are a playoff team again.

UGA has a great defense, but their big move in the offseason was to revamp their offense.

CFB is ruled by offense now. A defensive HC is fine, but he better have an exceptional OC.

You think Todd Monken, Bill O'Brien and Mike Denbrock are "exceptional" offensive coordinators?

#6 Michigan, #7 Penn State, #8 Oklahoma State and #10 Oregon are ranked 36th, 68th, 81st and 51st respectively in total offense.

Napier. Look what he’s done at ULL and who he has learned from.

You might want to do a little research on winning records of these two:

Napier is 26-5 over the last three seasons
Aranda is 7-8 in two seasons

Can you spot the difference?

Napier has more experience as an HC and uses the same "process" as Saban.

Then why not Pruitt?

Give him some top recruits and watch him crank out the wins

See Pruitt.

Just because someone uses the “process” Saban uses doesn’t mean they will be successful.

Napier.

They didn’t make Dave Aranda head coach when they hired O. Don’t see them doing it now.
