Hell, I would argue that's a pretty high desire to secure an advantage for his program. And it's not like his family had to slum it through the airport, flying commercial, and catch connecting flights in busy airports. They flew on a private just and tooled around in a different city, at someone else's expense, for a few hours before heading home. What an arduous task

He wants to leave OM but he's struggling to grapple the idea of ditching a playoff team. He's probably exploring every possible way to have his cake and eat it too, but the CFB timeline doesn't allow for it.

I have said this all along. He and the Ole Miss administration have it worked out so that he strings this out as long as possible to do all that damage he can to LSU and Florida as far as recruiting and signing players! Are you people too blind to see this?!?

At the opportunity cost of pissing off your fans and boosters in the form of public embarrassment? And distracting your CFP bound team?
He would be a complete lunatic to orchestrate this - it's possible he is a complete lunatic, but I digress

This is the fricking dumbest thing I've ever heard. So, the whole Ole Miss administration and fooball team have all agreed that "let's frick with LSU and Florida while we are trying to make it to Atlanta for the first time in the history of ths school." The fans/media and orchestrating all of this. For all we know, he's interested in exploring other opportunities and is doing his due diligence like anyone else. It's not his fault the south has wacko fans following flight details. He's not advertising he has family (allegedly) traveling to other towns.
Regardless, he's NEVER been more in-demand as a HC in his life and he likely never will. If you want to leverage the best terms possible you have to make people believe there is big risk of losing you.

He may be doing diligence but it shouldn't come at the expense of his current employer. His camp is the one who allowed the flight pics leak for whatever reason - it's sloppy and makes Ole Miss look second rate. You are communicating to your fans LSU/UF are better than you. You shouldn't do that as CEO of a program especially not one that is in the CFP mix, where your fans/admin have given you everything you want.
