If O wanted to go that route he would have made that Decision already he obviously doesn't think Raymond can handle being DC.
Raymond will never be more then a position coach as long as he stays at lsu

And maybe he’s fine with that. We all know some guys that get HC opportunities are better off as just a coordinator. Maybe Raymond realizes this and would rather stay the course and collect his check.

if it doesnt work out we not only have a bad dc we lose our very good db coach and recruiter

I wouldn't be mad but I'm not LSU. Why should I be mad until I see how he does? I may not be initially excited but I'll give any new DC a honeymoon period.
