ummm its not that simple. USC is home, his dream school, where his parents/brother live and where his wifes family lives.

also easier to win there and much less pressure.

I didn't realize this, now knowing this I'd say he'd go to USC. At least if I were in his shoes I'd lean that way to be honest

He already chose USC. Was not even a candidate at LSU.

You need to quit posting cold turkey because you have no way of knowing that

I would say USC. Family and all, beautiful state and so much to do with family. The only reason would be taxes, home prices, having to vax your kids. As commie as that state is getting, that would be a big hold up if it was me.

Correct, even though for some reason a lot of people think he should have been

Dave doesn’t really strike me as someone who is into all the nonsense that goes on in LA. I get that he’s from there, but that doesn’t mean he is clamoring to go back to it. You’d have to be crazy to pay to live there and pay those taxes. That’s the worst part . The vax thing would suck as well, but who knows how he feels about that.

TBL says otherwise; I’m guessing he was 3rd after Jimbo and Riley which he probably didn’t appreciate.

If USC offered the same amount of money as LSU and it were equal the thinking is Aranda would choose USC is what I’m hearing.

There were some things that’s went down at LSU that hurt Aranda and some things he did not like. With all that being said, he is and has been looked at from LSU. They aren’t offering him but he is on the list, 4th on it. At this point in time though it’s Riley’s job. And he (Riley) is most likely gonna be the next HC unless something changes these next few weeks.

The kook politicians in Cali want to pass more taxes on millionaires . So potentially 60% of your salary can go to Newsome and his buddies . Not practical to declare Nevada as your state of residence . Baton Rouge lookin’ betta and betta !!

They would have to offer 15-20% more just to match the take home pay.

I think Aranda has a blue print for how he wants to build a program. USC allows him to do that, even if it takes 2-3 seasons.

He be expected to quickly fix O’s mess and start winning immediately at LSU, as well as most high profile jobs.

Most people assume Aranda’s reserved personality isn’t suited for the bright lights of L.A. The truth is the lights are only bright at USC if they are winning. They are always bright at other nationally prominent jobs.

USC is a broken program, but with unlimited potential.
