Would 4 losses take Tucker off the board? Because it's about to happen

Because that's fairly likely. I don't see MSU beating Michigan or Ohio St. probably not Penn St. either. Purdue who knows?

Tucker is getting a lot of hype for beating a bunch of bad teams. Their real season starts this week.

That’s not how this works. If Tucker is hired, it’s BECAUSE he’s black not win/loss record. His next 5-6 games are irrelevant if that’s the direction.

I can't stand fans who want Tucker to lose to make him a less attractive candidate. You don't even know if Tucker would take the LSU job!

Not entirely...there is a reason Saban has hired him while at Michigan State, at LSU and Alabama...

It was Saban that recommended Michigan State go get Tucker from Colorado when they needed a coach...

Tucker is still building Michigan State's roster...

If you are not worth your salt Saban is not going to work with you multiple times and recommend you for head coaching jobs...

True, but limping to the finish line at 8-4 after starting 7-0 would make it a lot easier for Woodward to convince the BOS that Tucker isn't the right choice. In most cases, the money would win out, and if donors threaten to cut off the cash flow, that would be the deciding factor. It's even been suggested that Woodward's people leaked this info intentionally to let the fans know he's being pressured by Tate.

I think his record and current Ranking have a lot to do with the hype.

If he finishes strong he is legitimately a good candidate.

If not, I dont See us hiring a guy with A bad record.

I don't believe Tucker is legitimately on the board. His name was a media leak to throw people off Woodward's trail.
