We're better off with neither. Give the keys to Aranda, promote Ryamond to DC and hire a good, experienced OC (but keeping Ensminger as a position coach).
Addition by subtraction.
Addition by subtraction.

Les with an autonomous OC would be awesome.
Most people liked Les, just his refusal to leave 1970 Michigan Football got old.

I loved Les, but

is never going to happen with him. It's crazy that Orgeron has convinced people otherwise.

Les, Canada, and Aranda with Les staying out of the offense?
frick yes.

Hey, if we are going to dream about CLM coming back. LOL

Would you take Les Miles back with a new OC?
I felt like Les was the right guy to be at the top, he just needed to get the offense cranked up. He took us to the title game twice, he knew what it takes to get there.
I honestly don't think O knows what it takes to win. He can't beat a competitive team.

Y’all r really confused, les miles changed oc’s very often but his offense never changed.

If he would have gotten a new OC, he would still be here.

O and SE are what we got when les was fired and O and SE did better than what we had.
Your right, o and SE rode roughshod over those defenses that were ranked in the 80's, 90's, 100's and beyond. Play a team that had a defense with a pulse, not so much.
Now, I'm not saying that o and SE didn't put up bigger numbers against those teams with terrible defenses, but in my opinion, Miles would have won those games anyway and might have even won the Florida game.
Running up the score and embarrassing the opponents wasn't something that Miles seemed to enjoy doing. He seemed just as happy winning a game 20 to 10 than he did 50 to 10.
As aggravating as it was at times, that's just the way Miles seemed to operate.

Yes.. if the alternative is this shite show. Without hesitation.

We did no better or worse this year as when Les was coach
wrong. we would not have lost to troy, probably not MSU, and definitely not to ND. Miles would've gone for the TD, not a freaking field goal.

I'd like to see Miles as AD, new head coach (possibly Aranda)and a new OC.

I would love Les back with a new OC, BUT:
It must be in his contract that he doesn’t meddle with the offense.
Les can’t be allowed within 50 feet of the offense. He’s like a sex offender but with offense.

I think Les offenses simply weren’t good enough to blow anyone out.

At this point, absolutely. At least Les knew how to win one national championship and get LSU to another championship game. With the current HC, I doubt LSU comes close to an SEC championship over the next two or three years.

At times, LSU could have run up the score on some teams, but Les, being the classy guy that he is, did not believe in doing that, to his credit.
