Source told me this morning. He’s been 4/4 on what he has told me.
what were the ones before the thread you linked?

If this is true, LSU could be getting ready to go through a long ugly spell of average at best seasons. I have no problem with a minority hire but if they are pre-deciding on what they want their next coach to look like it tells me the priority is not on winning football as much as it is putting out a look.

Its like you have not even read the thread, or you have a problem with reading comprehension. GTFO and start another thread with the racist fear mongering.

Franklin, Kiffin are no longer in the mix. Napier was never on the list. So not sure when your friend got his list, but if those 2 were on it, then we are down to 2
But if your friend has a list of 4 from the last 48 hrs, then its Jimbo, Aranda, Fickell, Bob Stoops. I would lean toward Stoops and Jimbo being Top 2, due to how quickly we moved on EdO. My feeling is Woodward has someone already locked in. Stoops would fill that qualification with ease, because waiting out how a coach fares the rest of the season, could be a huge blunder

Moscona is a moron that doesn’t know anything and yet half our fanbase hangs on his every word.
Well he may be but he is more connected than most.

I am fan of Mike Tomlin, but would he fit in College Football?
He would fit at any level of football you want to pick. From peewee flag football through the NFL, that man can coach.
ETA: It would be a huge shock to see him taking a non-NFL gig, though.

No kidding.
Why would that guy leave the NFL?

According to whom?

Steelers currently the 7 seed in the AFC, so the "still playoff-eligible" criteria is met.

Tell your source to call Woodward and ask him to call Tomlin.

Sounds like solid info.

It's not Kiffin, I wish people would stop that nonsense. Woodward isn't putting his legacy on line for him!

Down to 3.
Do you know if these 3 are offensive/ defensive minded, or both? Playoff contenders?

This is the dumbest update. First there’s no way to verify it. Second, that’s not how this process works, at all. Third, if I said “I heard a contrary source say it was down to 5 candidates” how could you prove me wrong, and what difference would it make?!?

Mel tucker isn’t a serious candidate

Agree that Tomlin leaving the NFL is way too far out there.
If a current NFL head coach is going to leave for LSU, it would be a disillusioned Matt Rhule.

Shouldn't be down to 4. Should be either Napier, Aranda/Herman combo, or Bill O'Brien
