Word is Woodward is down to 4 candidates.

Source told me this morning. He’s been 4/4 on what he has told me.
Here some info this source have given me before

That’s the only one that hasn’t gotten deleted or anchored or whatever.
Anyways Source says Woodward is down to 4 but he has a favorite. I asked him directly is Tate going try to overrun Woodward and make him hire who he wants. He said no. He said Tate is all about winning and has thrown out some names but it’s not his hire. It’s Woodward’s.
He wouldn’t give me the 4 candidates. But he did say if LSU is hiring a minority coach it’s Franklin.
He also went onto say most of the coaches Woodward is looking at have chances of making the playoffs.

You don't need a "source" to figure out that the targets will be big names. All one has to do is look at Woodward's past history. Hell, just look at the LSU history. Kim Mulkey is hired at a huge sum to leave Baylor. Kevin O'Sullivan was the initial target in the baseball search and the reason it played out so long (aside from Johnson coaching in the CWS) is because there were discussions (to some degree) between LSU and Tim Corbin
