Either Woody has his guy and all of these agents are leaking false crap as a way to get their client a raise or we’re screwed.

It seems like this title 9 crap is a big concern for these coaches we’re after. They’re pretty happy where they are and they can flirt with the LSU opening and in turn get a nice raise to stay at the school they didn’t necessarily want to leave in the first place.

Riley didn’t want to coach in the SEC so he was looking for a way out from the beginning with no interest in LSU.

We didn’t offer Napier so he jumped on Florida.

Aranda hasn't been offered either as far as we know and was offered a raise not long after the LSU job opened up.

I don’t know if Franklin or Tucker were ever in consideration, but even if they were, they’ve now been offered nice raises to stay in place.

Now we’re down to Kiffin, Stoops, BoB and Campbell and it’s possible that they start to feel like the fallback instead of a wanted coach and therefore say screw LSU. Hell, at this rate we’re going to end up with Herman, D. Sanders or Rich Rod.

Here’s hoping all of this is wrong and his man is in place and they’re going to announce it this week so he can jump on recruiting.
