He's hit his ceiling at Clemson. He could stay there forever but Clemson doesn't recruit itself. He won't be the new exciting brand any more and he likely won't be in the playoff mix every year. If he's comfortable with that he'll stay. If he's up for a new challenge at the highest level he may look around, and the SEC is the obvious choice. My only question is he's ready for a change now or if he waits for Bama to come open.

If he were at LSU he would be getting fired. Team has been on a downward trend for a couple of years and he cannot win without a great QB. Those are reasons we just fired O. Why would we want to hire the same thing?

If O weren't a Trainwreck people would be giving him time to turn it around. Dabo may have a little of the phony TV preacher about him but if he has any side pieces he isn't letting their kids practice with the team

Agree, unless Feldman pens a sequel to Meat Market (and maybe he will with married pregnant pusse being the emphasis, not recruits) O’s usefulness to Feldman is over.

There was no way Chris Petersen was leaving Boise State, especially after he turned down USC.
And then Woodward somehow got him to leave for Washington.
Other than Saban, no one is off the table for Woodward.

Might also explain why Scott drew up a contract that won't penalize Jimbo if he leaves, just wild speculation on my part though.
