Dear Tulane Community,

Green Wave Football Head Coach Willie Fritz informed us today that he has accepted the head coach position at the University of Houston, effective immediately.

at least 5 parents of players post here and a parent of an asst coach. After the game last night he circumvented players, fans and parents of players when he was leaving campus, including one that is somewhat very well connected.

Curious to see which direction new AD goes

Willie got back to getting LA kids. And did well in the portal with homesick, B-level local kids.

You mean like, "a friend of ours" kind of connected? Like he knows some guys back East? Does Willie need to take out some extra insurance?

I really hate that for Tulane. It was fun watching them succeed after 30+ years in obscurity. Hopefully they find a coach that keeps them competitive.
