Is it finally UT's turn to plant a Manchurian coach somewhere?

No. He's a Rice grad. Sorry 'boutcha.

Is he bringing a QB with him to UF?

Will Grier is staying with us no Mercer who we hire as OC. All good for 2014. TYVM and YAOM

Not to offend you UF guys but, this is a very bad situation. If Uf is seriously looking at OC's from Duke then, you have been turned down by a lot of other quality coordinators.
I see no way that Boom is going to be able to turn this situation around in one season, especially given your schedule next year.
Foley should have fired Muschamp and started over. He's ultimately going to have to do it anyway.
This. Should have admitted he made a mistake and moved on. This is a nightmare and fortunately we'll be able to wake up soon.

This, and I'm a bit surprised he doesn't promote Joker. Joker was a pretty good OC, just an awful HC.
I honestly think Joker was our best hope. Kentucky doesn't have a lot of talent at football but he did what he could.
At UF our receivers were freaking god awful last year -- this year they looked pretty damn good. I would have just promoted Joker.

Is he good enough to save Muschamp's job?

We have large sums of money but will not be throwing it at Chad Morris. He makes way too much and Foley has never paid that much for coordinators save for the Fat feller now at Kansas and I don't see him doing that again.
In retrospect, hiring that guy at Kansas set UF back more than Muschamp or Pease has.

If he is anything like Cutcliffe, he is a good 'en. I hope BOOM finds a good OC. I want him to be at UF for many years to come.

Why would you want him anyways? Clemson isn't devoid of talent, yet they haven't found an answer for South Carolina's defenses that are second tier by SEC standards.

Who knows! I'm not getting all riled up over a guy interviewing.

Fat Cheeseburger Charlie needs a job. He's a good OC. Unfinished business 2.0 imo

Agreed. Or if Clawson hadn't taken that head coaching gig, he could re-introduce the SEC to the might Clawfense. Would do wonders at UF.

I think they are going by the logic that if you can make the eternal dumpster fire known as "Duke Football" into a decent team, you can coach anywhere and at any level.
Duke, unlike most football programs, have an academic requirement for football and unlike Stanford they have no real football history. So they have less talent to work with than other power conference teams.
Steve Spurrier came from Duke and got them there first NC championship,so it shouldn't surprise anyone that they would go back a double dip into there coaching pool.
Nick Saban and Gay Pinkle coached at Toledo. Mark Richt was at ECU. Chip Kelly was as FCS New Hampshire.Jim Harbaugh\David Shaw was at scholarshipless FCS San Diego Toreros football. All of them turned crap into gold.
Also, I think every great OC are waiting for a head coaching job.

It's Florida......they can do better. Pathetic candidate if he truly is one. Florida has one of the better recruiting situations in the nation and should be able to land a damn good OC. Taking a guy from Duke just seems desperate.

Another FSU fan that posts without thinking. With Muschamp on the hotseast it was going to be difficult to get a great OC from the get go.
Some of you need to use your brain.

Mark Richt was at ECU.
Richt barely had a cup of coffee at ECU as the OC. He was with FSU for a couple years before then and for 10 years after.

Side note, how is Weis still the HC at Kansas?

Just a smokescreen before announcing Kiffin as OC
