You think a school that is willing to offer an obscene contract to a HC is going to the HC who he can and can't hire? Jimbo has been delusional about his staff hire for years (Trickett, Kelly) -- get ready for some fun

If you even remotely believe Aranda is going to TAMU you should probably quit posting and focus on more imperative issues such as breathing.

If Doeren leaves I wonder if NC State would go after him

Regardless Aranda’s next job will be as a P5 head coach or an NFL DC

You ever think there would be a chance LSU promotes Aranda to HC since they do not want to lose him so badly?

Not a chance because Alleva doesn't know what he's doing.

Aranda coaches like a rocket scientist. Best football coach of any capacity LSU has had since Saban.

That would be an interesting spot, but I really believe his next target is NFL DC, then HC.

O and Aranda are fine. I do not know where this crap comes from. O respects him a ton.

O and Canada on the other hand, is a different story.

Aranda is the best coach since Saban. Not all X and O guys make great HCs. With that said, I would give Aranda an opportunity, if O doesnt work.

It would be pandemonium

LSU fans losing the HC they wanted plus the DC they love to a team they play.

And Aggie would still lose to Daddy LSU

Right. It's hilarious if any aTm fan thinks they're going to sign Jimbo by promising him complete and unquestioned control that FSU won't give, and then will get to tell him who will be on his staff.

I’m pretty sure he meant “in his capacity,” not as a HC.

Aranda took a defense that lost an incredible amount from last year, and was filled with inexperienced guys, and only gave up 3 more ppg. That’s elite coaching.

I am sure we aren’t telling him what assistants to hire, but even insiders from FSU have said Robinson is expected to be his DC at A&M and Trickett is expected to retire.

It’s funny how the target has moved from “Why is A&M going after Fisher, no way he leaves” to “Well he’s just going to bring all his shitty assistants”
